01 Day:
Drive to Kodari 114 Kms. From Kathmandu. Proceed for Embarkationformalities. Trek for 08 kilometers from Kodari to Zhangmu (7000 ft.). Arrive Zhangmu and after completetioin of immigration formalities. Check in at Hotel Zhangmu for overnight.
Day 02:
Drive 257 Kms. From Zhangmu Xegar (13,800 ft.). Overnight at Qumolangma Hotel.
Day 03:
Drive 245 Kms. From Xegar to Xigatse. Overnight at Xigatse Hotel. Xigatse(12600ft.) is most famous for its Tashilhunpo Monastery – the seat of thepanchen Lama
Day 04:
Drive 93 Kms from Xigatse to Gyantse. Overnight at Gyantse hotel. Gyantse (13050 ft.) is a small agricultural town famous for its wool carpets and the Plakhor Choide Chorten. Amongs the ruins of the Lamasery and the Fort.
Day 05:
Drive 259 Kms. From Gyantse to Lhasa. (11850 ft.). Arrive Lhasa and check for overnight.
Day 06:
Lhasa: Full day sightseeing of Sera Monastery Jokhang Temple & Barkhor.
Day 07:
Lhasa: Full day sightseeing of Potala Palace, the Drepung Monastery.
Day 08:
Transfer from hotel to Gongar airport in time to connect onward flight.

Even in Lhasa, the hotels mentioned above are not up to the mark as we can find in Kathmandu and elsewher in the world.

LHASA & EVEREST BASE CAMP

01 Day: KATHMANDU - LHASA (3,650m)
Fly on AIR CHINA flight to Lhasa. Upon arrival at Gonggar Airport, You shall be met by your Tibetan Guide and transfer provided to Lhasa city. O/nts .at Hotel Flora.
Day 02/3: LHASA SIGHTSEEING TOUR
Visit the Potala & Norbulinka Palace, Drepung & Sera monastery, Jokhang Temple & Barkhor Bazaar.
Day 04: LHASA GYANTSE (3650m.)-259/kms.
Drive to Gyantse crossing The KAMBA LA (4794m.) & KARO LA (5010m.) PASS via The Lake Yamdrok-Tso. O/nt at Hotel Utse.
Day 05: GYANTSE-SHIGATSE (3900m.)-90/kms
AM: Visit The Khumbum Stupa & Phalkor Monastery at Gyantse. Embark on a pleasant 2 hrs. drive to Shigatse.
PM: Sightseeing Tour of the Tashilunpo Monastery and the free Tibetan market. O/nt. at Hotel Everest Post Office.
Day 06: SHIGATSE XEGAR (3900m.)-244/kms.
Drive to (Approx. 8hrs.) Xegar, O/nt. at Guest House.
Day 07: XEGAR DZA RONGPHU (4920m.)-60/kms.
Drive over rocky terrain on 4-WD by Landcruiser/s to the village of Dza Rongphu. O/nt. at Rongphu Lodge.
Day 08: EVEREST BASE CAMP EXCURSION (5090m.)
A 2 hrs. trek from The Rongbuk Monastery will lead you to the base of the highest peak on earth The North Face of Mount Everest (8848m.) Or Mount Quomolangma in Tibetan. Explore the base camp and The Ronghu Glacier. Retreat to lodge. Later in the afternoon, return to Tingri (approx 96 kms/ 3hrs). O/nt. at Hotel Snowleopard.
Day 09: TINGRI NYALAMU (3750m.)-214/kms.
Drive downhill to Nyalam crossing two spectacular passes- The LALUNG LA (5082m.) & NYALAMU (3800m.) PASS. O/nt. at Snowlion Guest House.
Day 10: NYALAMU-KATHMANDU (1200m.)-123/kms.
Drive downhill to Zhangmu and to The Friendship Bridge where transportation awaits for the Groups final journey to Kathmandu.
